What Will Delivery Cost?
We offer free nationwide shipping for all orders over R750.00. For orders less than this amount we charge a flat rate fee of R90.00 to any destination in South Africa.
When Will I Receive My Order?
As we hold stock of all our products we aim to dispatch your order as soon as possible!
Typically the following guidelines apply for courier delivery from day of dispatch:
Gauteng: 1 – 2 business days
Durban: 1 – 2 business days
Bloemfontein: 1 – 2 business days
Nelspruit: 1 - 2 business days
Polokwane: 1 - 2 business days
Cape Town: 2 – 3 business days
Port Elizabeth, East London, Kynsna, Plettenberg Bay and other more remote outlying towns may take 2 – 4 business days for your order to reach you. We will email you a tracking number and an estimated day of delivery once your order has been dispatched.
Can My Order Be Sent to a Post Box Number?
Yes. Our couriers are not able to deliver to a P O Box number, however for this service we would post your order via the South African Post Office, (economy parcel service) and email you a tracking number. You would then be responsible for collecting the parcel at your local Post Office. We only recommend this service if you live in a remote area or do not have someone available during the day to sign for a courier delivery. Your order will take longer to reach you then using our courier service.
Please ensure that the correct P O Box Number and Postal Code is entered on the check-out page. Timeless Toys will not be responsible for items that are returned due to postal code errors.
Can I Collect My Order?
Sorry, no. Timeless Toys is an e-retail only store and we do not allow collections from our warehouse.
Do You Ship Internationally?
No, at this point in time we can only offer delivery within South Africa.
Do I Need to Create an Account to Make a Purchase?
No, you can make a purchase as a “guest” user without the need for creating an account. However our site has been designed to offer you a simpler check-out process as a registered customer, including remembering your address details, your order history and your shipping address book.
How Do I Know Your Products Are Safe for My Child?
Product safety is one of the key requirements when selecting our products at Timeless Toys. We will never stock products that are not certified to International Safety Standards. This includes the EN71 label which means products have been tested to European Toy Safety Standards.
A great majority of our brands are selected for being committed to sustainability during the manufacturing process – this includes products that may appear to look plastic that are often made from recycled materials, books that are printed with environmentally friendly inks, wooden products made from Rubberwood (a replenishible timber source) or from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) wood, paper or board – all of them built to last. When you purchase one of our toys you can also rest assured that the product was likely to have been made in a Fair Trade factory. We are proud to offer such a huge range of eco-friendly toys! Great for kids to play with and good for our planet too.
For reasons such as choking hazards and small parts that can be inserted into nostrils and other wee orifices we do urge you as conscious parents to take note of our age recommendation guidelines and to not purchase items for very young children that are over the recommended age group.
Can I Order Products to be Sent As a Gift?
Yes, certainly! As part of our great customer service we will gift-wrap your order for free and include a message from you to the recipient, hand written on a card.
Please select this option and add your message (if applicable) to be included. If the item is marked as a gift you can rest assured that no invoice or pricing information will be included with the order.
You are also very welcome to request that items are gift-wrapped and shipped to your own address – there are really no rules at all!
Can I Purchase a Gift from Overseas to be delivered within South Africa?
Yes! We welcome orders from international customers and would love nothing more than to have your order be delivered to the lucky little one all wrapped and looking gorgeous! With a hand-written message on a card, it will seem as if it came directly from you.
How Will My Order be Packed?
In order to reduce waste and do our bit for the environment, your order will be sent out in boxes we have already received from our suppliers. You can rest assured that your product(s) will be adequately protected during transit. We believe it’s what’s inside the box that counts!
Items that are lightweight or single items may be sent out in a courier flyer bag – we would be so happy if you could recycle our courier bags and boxes! If you order a big-ticket item in a large box, first let your kids have fun making a fort or palace or house….with a pair of scissors and some crayons you will have guaranteed a few hours of good fun before sending it to the recycling bin!
Do You Accept Orders Over the Phone?
Yes that is no problem. Please contact us on (011) 792-8017 during business hours to place your order telephonically. Please note that at this stage we cannot accept manual credit card orders so we will email you an invoice for EFT payment. We would also request that you send confirmation of the delivery address for your order via email once you have ordered over the phone.
What Are Your Trading Hours?
You can shop online at Timeless Toys 24/7. Our office hours for any queries are Mondays to Fridays 9am – 4pm.
Do You Price Match Other Online Websites?
We focus our energy on sourcing and stocking quality products, providing the best customer service possible and offering very reasonable flat rate shipping. For this reason we do not price match.
Is Your Site Secure to Enter My Credit Card Details?
Timeless Toys uses Secure Socket Layering (SSL) encryption technology. This means your personal information and credit card details are transmitted through a secure server. All credit card transactions are processed through our payment gateway partner – Paygate (www.paygate.co.za).
